Because it's admirable for a woman to be masculine and it's not for a man to be feminine. Masculinity is perceived as better than femininity. It's much like how calling a male a "p*ssy" means he's weak.

(I know that other words related to sex are also insults in different ways--"c*nt" doesn't imply weakness and dick is an insult too.)

i believe in some asian cultures pink is a boy's color.

unfortunately our society is like that way
if i go out in public in a pink shirt
people might percieve me to be a ( you know what i mean )
