I was CORRECTED the other day when my TWO YEAR OLD NIECE said MERRY CHRISTMAS.

I meant no harm by teaching her to say that.

It's Merry Christmas always. I would love to see a person lash out at me for saying that.

Who told her to not say Merry Christmas? I'm getting them a big fat lump of coal. I use Happy Holidays when I know I prob won't see the person before New Year's. Happy Holidays covers both. I say Merry Christmas, though, if that's all I am referring to. People really need to relax and understand that the world does not revolve around them. As much as THEY don't want to hear Merry Christmas I don't want to hear them complaining about it. Plug your ears if you can't take it. Merry Christmas!!!!

Maybe we should just become amoebas and not really believe ANYTHING. God knows, whatever you believe will offend someone somewhere so don't believe anything and don't talk about it. Everybody just shut your pie holes and don't say a word. You'll offend someone. Get over yourself.

I prefer "Happy Holidays" because I am Jewish and hate Christmas... but I'm not PC at all and really don't give a crap. I don't get offended or anything when someone says "Merry Christmas," I just respond by saying, "Happy Hannukah."

The only reason some people might get butt hurt by it is because by saying, "Merry Christmas," you can be misinterpreted as making the indirect assumption that the person you're saying it to is Christian.
