I'm not a big fan of the 80's...so I turned it to a station that plays 80's 24/7, jacked the volume up, and placed it up high on the other side of my room....so I have to actually get up out of bed to turn it off and when thats good and done I'm right next to my door and far away from my bed!

Buy on of two of the MOST annoying alarm clocks ever created.

1) The Sonic Grenade! Emits a VERY loud shrill ensured to get you out of bed. How to set: Set time, pull pin, lay in bed, throw grenade. At the set time, the grenade will go off, you must find the grenade and reset by putting pin back into the grenade.

2) The puzzle clock: At the set time, the clock will eject the pieces and begin sounding an alarm, the only way to turn the alarm off is to reassemble the 8 piece puzzle in the clock

If you need to be up at 7:00 then set your alarm for 6:45. When the clock goes off hit the snooze button every time until it reads 7:00. This will give your body just the right time to adjust because you do not have enough time to go back to sleep before your alarm goes off again. By the time it reaches 7:00 your body will be ready to get up! Trust me it works.

Set up two differnt alarm clocks both across my room and have them go off 5 minutes apart. Even if you hit snooze, you can't get rest. Believe me, you may be real grouchy but it will keep you out of bed!

I have 2 alarm clocks, and set one of them away from the bed, so if the first one doesn't get me up, then the other one usually always does...

He brings me coffee and lights me a cigarette. He also has the good sense to not try having a conversation for at least 15 minutes afer I wake up. (And by alarm clock, I mean husband)

Have it ring 15-20 minutes earlier than you usually wake up so that you can have enough time to snooze or you can put it a little out of your reach so you can get up to stop the constant ringing in your dreams!

Maybe there`s something wrong with me, but when the alarm goes off, I just get up.

I put it out of reach of the bed, so that I have to get out of bed to turn it off. Once I'm out of bed, I won't fall back asleep and miss my appointment.
