The are only 2 ways you are going to know for sure if you are pregnant. Your best bet will be to wait 35 days from the first day of your last period and take a pregnancy test. Your other option is to wait 9 months. If you don't want your parents to know, then that is not the best option.

Either buy a pregnancy test or contact your local planned parenthood or similar clinic and inquire about a test. Planned parenthood will be free or little cost to you. Planned parenthood or a clinic will be confidential and you will not need your parents permission.

If you are not pregnant while you are at planned parenthood you may want to inquire about birth control then you can continue to enjoy sex with one less thing to worry about.

If you are pregnant, then you will have to think about your options. Do you want the baby? Do you want your parents to know you are pregnant? Can the father really be depended on for support? Will you give the baby up for adoption? Do you want an abortion?

The first step however is to find out for sure that you are pregnant.

Good luck and I wish you the best!

PS having sex does not make you a bad girl!

When I was 16 I got pregnant too and I was sooo scared to say anything because I was a straight A student with a bright future and my family was against teen pregnancy. But I took a home test and it was positive, but I was afraid to go to the doctor. I didn't tell anyone for about a month after that and decided to write a letter to them when I went to stay @ a friends for the weekend. Basically my ENTIRE family called me and tried to figure out this mess. I went to the doctor and found out I had a molar pregnancy (very serious could lead to cancer) and had it removed. I was the good girl in the family, but you know I still am and pregnancy doesn't change that as long as you don't change. If you keep the same goals and have the same head on your shoulder your family will support you no matter what. You should tell them because you are so young you never know what could be going on inside your body. If you need help, call a counselor or like a previous post said call the planned parenting clinic and talk to someone about how you can tell your family. Don't worry too much (stress is not good for you or your baby (if you are)). I hope you get through everything ok and good luck. I know you'll do ok...you already have a heads up on everyone else b/c your a "good girl"...:D.

Just because you are pregnant (if you are) does not make you a bad girl at all. Lots of "good girls" get pregnant too!

Also you didn't provide much in your post... for all we know you could have been on the pill, a condom broke, you were raped.... who knows. All of that does not matter any how. If you are pregnant, you need to find out NOW!

Your local drug store sells pregnancy tests don't they? Stay over at a friends who can keep a secret, buy a test and use it. If it is positive than seek medical attention and tell your parent's right away! Better that way than they find out down the road once you are developing!

Well... the only way to know for sure is to see a doctor or take a test.

Give a call to Planned Parenthood; 1-800-230-PLAN. You can make an appointment to see your local clinic - you should be able to go in without any parental notification and they do not charge for pregnancy tests.

Go take a test and find out. Once you know for sure then talk to your parents about it. As much as they may freak out at first they will calm down im sure. Then they can help you decide if you are going to keep the baby or not. I was in your shoes a few years ago as well. My parents were not happy about it at all but they calmed down and supported me and still do!

Good luck...

Unless you take a test or see a doctor, you won't know you're pregnant for sure until you feel kicking or have other symptoms. Some women don't know their pregnant until they go into labor!

However, you owe it to your health and your baby's to get proper medical care right from the start. If you are pregnant, you can no longer put yourself first. There is an innocent baby depending on you. Quit deceiving your parents, grow up, and accept responsibility for your choices.

You can get a test for 1 $ at dollar tree, dollar general, family dollar etc. Follow the instructions. If you're pregnant start taking your prenatal vitamins and seek medical attention ASAP

I don't say this to be smart *** or sound cruel, but if you ae pregnant and don't get a test or go the doctor to confirm it, your next sign might be anything between weight gain to labor. face it, by the time it gets to this point, you will have to by a test. and go from there. There are ways to get tested without your parents knowing or consenting, especially since you are 16. Good luck.

You are 16, you are having sex, you think your pregnant, you go to school, there are sex ed classes right, and you ask this question. Being a "good girl" obviously isn't the same as being a "smart girl", rethink how you see yourself. You need a test and/or a doctor. God Bless.
