I use the library as much as I can. I do buy books when I'm not able to get at the library. I read all the time, so I probably couldn't afford my own habit! I don't worry about germs. I've never gotten sick and I've checked out hundreds of books. I usually catch a cold from my own family members!

no, i'm not a Mysophobe. I didn't think about that
I buy books and I also take them from library. I buy them because what i find at bookstore is more interesting and new.
But library has free books instead.

I buy some, but check many out of the library. I always have that waterless hand sanitizer with me when I go to the library, and I wash my hands every time I put a book down at home.

My wife is a librarian, we use the library all the time, and we are both recovering germaphobes. We realized that the reason for our germaphobia came from exaggerated claims of germ-laden worlds that only really exist in Lysol and Clorox commercials.

Too funny. I WORK in a library and I still buy books! There's something special about owning a book....besides the whole "germ thing".

I buy my own books. It's probably because Barnes and Noble is so inviting I just have to buy the place out or the fact that all notable classics that everyone has to read that belong to libraries have coc** and what not drawn in them. Also, SNOT OMG the snot!
