I have the Sony Vaio VGN NR 180 E/W. The Front Side Bus (FSB) is 667 Mhz. In consideration for the memory upgrade (it has Vista with only 1 GB of Memory), should I get the 800 Mhz even though the FSB is only 667 Mhz? I do not wish to go inside the BIOS. Thanks for your help!

If it will run at all, it might not run that great. Mismatches in clock-cycle timing can be a problem. Does the owner's manual say it will run with that memory speed? Or did you check a techie web site to confirm that it will run? If not, you are asking for serious headaches down the road.
