Actually a woman's uterus and skin is highly stretchable...and septuplets are usually quite smaller than singletons or even twins. All told, though, most OBs would probably suggest reduction of the number of fetuses to give them a better chance of survival. Many multiple birth children have problems such as cerebral palsy, seizures, etc...

The body is typically made to carry one or two safely. Septuplets? hmm..they just do, mind you most are born very early and are very small

Somehow the babies manage to fit, but they are always born very early which can lead to many problems, they spend a lot of their early life in the NICU.

Women who carry that many children first of all, their uterus gets huge and their stomach appears very large, but also the babies are born preterm and are very, very small. They usually have to stay in the hospital until they are fully developed.

well she's gonna have a lot of stretch marks to start with but the uterus is an amazing body part capable of stretching to riduculous sizes! Glad its not me though!

theyre in her uterus and she gets really big and normally the babies weigh alot less then normal.. instead of 8-9 lbs there 4-5
