Click "Privacy" on the top right
Click "Profile" change the first option to "only my friends" scroll to the bottom and click "Save"
The main privacy screen comes up again, click "search" and change the first option "Which Facebook users can find me in search" and change option to "only my friends" scroll down to the bottom and click save
The main privacy screen comes up again click "Poke, Message and Friend Request Settings" and then check the boxes for what you want people to be able to see. Scroll to the bottom and click "Save"

Click the word "privacy" in the upper right part of the page and you'll go to all of the settings. I'm not sure you can prevent people from poking or messaging you. To prevent people from adding you as a friend, simply ignore their friend request.

Click Privacy in the top-right.

Click Edit Settings next to Search.

Under "What Can People Do With My Search Results", uncheck the boxes for features you don't want others to use.
