I've heard that a Nostradamus Quatrain has been interpreted and predicts the next time the Cubs will win the World Series.
It will happen the same year that the Cubs' parent company, the Chicago Tribune, endorses a Democrat for President. The conjunction of the two events will send shockwaves through the 9 Heavens and 10 Hells, (the 9 circles described by Dante and a showing of Britney Spears' home movies,) of such magnitude that they trigger the Apocalypse.
I can just see the Headlines in the Trib, (40 point type,) CUBS WIN!!!!!!, (subhead,) World Ends, Paris Hilton, 6 Billion+ others die.
I'm not sure I buy it. But it could be useful to know if it's true.

For the sake of the world, I hope you're right FPA. Fortunately, it's equally unlikely that the Tribune will ever endorse a Democrat for president. They're still upset about the whole DEWEY WINS! fiasco.

you have to kidding me Nostradamus...I have never heard of such a prediction and I have 3 books on Nostradamus and you can by them in the science fiction section...the Cubs fans a disparate this year as they are every year
