After he gave his speech on religion...I will vote for him. He is the most qualified ( experience in business, as a Governor and his turn around of the Olympics ). I questioned he would hold his loyalty to the leaders of his church above those of the nation - he cleared that up.

Our country is at war now and we need a true leader to guide us through the perilous times ahead. Mitt Romney is exactly the kind of person we need to run this country. Before any of us were born, we all lived together in Heaven with Heavenly Father. Some of us rebelled and started a war with those who were faithful . This event was called "The War in Heaven". Eventually the bad guys lost and became demons . the good guys won and were born with white skin here on Earth. Those who did not fight very hard or were indifferent were born on Earth with dark skin. The bravest of the brave leaders of the Lords Army were born here on Earth with White skin to good Mormon families.
During the war, Romney must have been one of the top Commanding Generals. Just look at his awe inspiring persona and strong Mormon family. Amerika needs General Romney to help us win the war on terror and bring Salvation to the world. Vote Romney in '08.

I am for Mitt Romney too. He is not my first choice but he is my dark horse. He is definitely a professional leader that I can clearly see as a much needed candidate to bring America back to it Fiscal Base Conservatism. The GOP party is not dead.

Freakouts over religion and its adherents need to get a grip. Most people and virtually all candidates for public office believe in God or something beyond this world...having said that, just look at Romney's record of achievement in life as pertains to governance, and CEO of a corporation that is almost unparalleled.

And then take a look at the godless career-span of Nancy Pelosi.

The contrast is HUGE.

I personally prefer either Huckabee or Giuliani, but I could live with Mitt Romney as president. He is an experienced executive. He's obviously very intelligent. He comes across as being both ethical and thoughtful. And, I have absolutely no problem with his religion!

Not totally sure, I'd pick him if he makes it to the "finals" I am leaning toward no in the primaries, but will do more research. BTW - I'm Mormon.

Not me. I am not religious, I am more agnostic than a believer at all but I am very uncomfortable with the secrecy and the oath of allegiance of the Mormons to their church. The problem is that there are things about the faith that nobody can know unless they are already in that faith. I can tomorrow walk into any Baptist, Methodist, Catholic Church, Synagogue or Mosque and witness all that happens in that place, there is no “inner Church” that I know of. That secrecy makes me think of a cult. I found this recently:
"I Mitt Romney, covenant before God, angels and these witnesses that I will never reveal the First Token of the Aaronic Priesthood, with its accompanying name and sign, and penalty. Rather than do so, I would suffer my life to be taken."
What exactly is that First Token?

I like him more than some of the other candidates but he's not my top choice. If he wins the nomination i'd obviously support him over Hillary though.
