It depends totally on what shifts we are working. My wife is a nurse and sometimes has to get up at 04.30, neither of my 2 sons start before 09.00 and always get up at the very last minute.
I work freelance and sometimes work throughout the night.
We are all qualified ambulance crew and work on the ambulance as voluntary crews often on a night shift.

Me, well, no not really the dog does ,comes and gives me a nudge, to get up out of my lovely warm bed put on dressing gown, go down stairs open the patio doors, let it out for a pee, dog goes back to bed- me wide awake, I know -change the dog!

Well my wife usually wakes up first, then I get up to make a coffee and bring it to her in bed.

There is just the two of us...my B/F and myself so normally I get up first and wake him with a good morning kiss and a cup of morning tea!!!
