If your dumb your dumb, it's no-ones fault, everyone has strong and weak points, if you act dumb, that insults everyone by jstating you believe they believe you and can't see through your usually lame performance of stupidity.

Acting dumb is twice as bad, dumb just can't help being dumb! I guess by dumb you mean stupid, and in the words of Ron White, "You can't fix stupid"! And dumb means speechless.

If a person is inherently "dumb" they do not have much choice but to act dumb in itself is dumb and therefore no better than being born that way.
Be yourself no matter what then at least you know how to behave in all situations.

Being dumb is one thing, but acting the part, IMHO, makes you even dumber. There is no way a truly smart person would act the part.
