I can only find one other question in the last day or so, and I did answer it. I think some questions require more experience than do others. For yours, someone would have to have some knowledge of the school you are attending and of admissions to grad school admissions, which pretty much cuts out all the high school students on the site and a lot of others. On the other hand, when someone says, "should I feel bad for not getting a 4.0," everyone can have an opinion.

I see you do have a few answers. However, you asked a very specific question about a specific school in the question you have cited here. I live in Montana and have no knowledge of your university in New York. I have received degrees from schools in Oregon, California and Montana, a world away from your "neck of the woods." Your question is valid but there may not be that many folks on line right this minute to answer. Plus you only asked that question 30 minutes ago, not much time to wait for an answer. Be patient!

Regarding your original question - the school you graduate from is not as important as your grades and letters of recommendation. keep up your GPA and be well prepared for GRE or other tests you take for grad school admission.

If your question pertains to your original question about attending a college in NY, my response is that a great GPA goes a long way for graduate/medical schools.

An education is a powerful thing.

Enjoy college!
