Marginal tax and its effect?

I would like to ask what marginal tax really is and what the effects would be if marginal tax was implemented in the tourism industry. Examples are preferred. Thanks a lot!

Your marginal tax rate is the rate that your last dollar of income is taxed at under a graduated income tax. It is not a tax in and of itself and is not specific to any industry.
