Nash is amazing .. jason is amazing.. its really hard to pick between the two.. only diff is kidd can rebound, nash can shoot better.. nash has a better team though.. when kidd had a good team they went to the finals two years in a row and i thought he should have been mvp that year not garnett.. nash has underachived in the playofs..everynight can be a triple double for kidd though, thats who i would build a team around ..

Jason Kidd. Not only he's a good leader on and off court. He plays good defense. Sure, Steve Nash has a better shot. But I'll take defense over offense any day. Plus, Jason Kidd is a triple-double machine.
He took the New Jersey Nets back to back NBA Finals. With a mediocre team.
Kerry Kittles and Lucious Harris at their peak of their career. A young Kenyon Martin and Richard Jefferson. And an average bench. From then on he has kept the New Jersey Nets in the Playoffs.

Easy, Jason Kidd. In about the same amount of time (since they were drafted a year a part) Jason Kidd has accomplished more than Steve Nash, and the things that Kidd does makes him far more durable than Steve Nash. If it weren't for the amazing Kobe/Shaq tandem, Kidd would have 2 championships with the Nets.
One thing a lot of people don't realize is that Jason Kidd accomplished the same exact thing that Steve Nash did earlier in his career. Jason Kidd, when he first moved to the Nets, took that team to the NBA finals.

Steve Nash is the best PG in the NBA. Jason Kidd is great but Steve Nash is the best.

Jason kidd becuase he can pass almost as well as nash but hes a far better defender than nash plus nash's team is alot better than his.

toughest question,i don't think so.there's no doubt Kidd is one of the best players (point guards around).but he his getting old and Nash is younger and with all that he's doing with the suns the # 1 point guard in the league.so overall Nash is better.
