I do. They didn't really hit their peak until the 80s with 'We're Not Gonna Take It'. I love listening to Dee's House of Hair radio show on Sunday nights.....really takes me back. ;)

Twisted Sister is a WIDELY known hair band who made it big in the 80's when hair bands were at their peak. Twisted Sister is still rocking out hard even to this day. Check them out, they are an awesome band!

Also, Dee Snider (lead singer) hosts a radio station every week called The House of Hair where he plays all hair metal bands. I'm a huge fan of the H.O.H and listen in each week. Tune in some time and catch up on all the great music you've been missing out on!

Actually , Twisted Sister Kinda started out in the 70's , but just local NY gigs and stuff - they hadn't been known outside of that. At that time, bassplayer Mark "The Animal" Mendoza was playing in a major label Punk act called The Dictators. Twisted Sister almost called it quits at one point on the US market, and went to an english label where they were quite popular , and cracked the US market from there. After THAT , they then became the band that a lot of people remember, especially in the 80's . I saw them in 84' with Y&T and Lita Ford on the bill. Great show.

FROM THE 70S?!
You do realize those bad boys are still rockin out hard, don't you?!
With that rant out of the way, I feel MUCH better!! LOL!
My whole fam loves Twisted Sister, though my kids seem to be the biggest fans!! They want to meet Dee so bad, but they never come to ND, so that's not happening!
Twisted has been together for like 30 yrs already, and in October they released the most awesome Christmas album and DVD EVER!! (i'm listening to it right now!!)

Late 70's, early 80's... Headed by Dee Snider. Their best known songs are probably "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock".

Why do you ask?

Look at the question below, obviously someone remembers plus her daughter. Plus me and I am not not old enough to to need to remember anything. Anyway they are still on tour so plenty of people probably remember.
