and now,
they want to make Santa trim and say "ha ha ha" because "ho ho ho" is affending to women because it refers to the word *hoe*

I've heard talk about people making Santa thin, as well, because he is sending a bad message to children about healthy eating. While it is not for the same reasons I still think it is stupid. I can't say that I've ever heard someone being offended by Santa or a child using the excuse that it's alright to eat all the cookies they want because Santa can. We are becoming way to obsessed with political correctness. In the schools around me they don't even do the traditional Thanksgiving celebrations that they use to because of all the stuff that happened between the Indians and Pilgrims. Kids can't even bring in treats for their birthdays just in case one of the kids in the class can't eat them, when I was in elementary school (which was only a few years ago) if you couldn't eat the treat you sucked it up and moved on with your life. It makes you wonder where we're headed to next.

No I do not think it is right to change this tradition. People should know that Santa saying ho ho ho is only a laugh nothing more. Some people are getting carried away with trying to be PC.

that is all a gaggle of propaganda. there is as lots (if not extra) outcry touching directly to the proposed alterations as there is touching directly to the "ho, ho, ho" or the "fat" Santa. i don't assume that we are going to ever see those alterations made. each physique loves Santa as he's.

That is absolute nonsense! I'm female and I'm not offended by that. Any reasonable woman wouldn't be offended.
