Okay if you are enlightened you should know there are only 4 races. The Caucoid,Austroid,******* & the Mongloid. No other races exsist, the Us census just "created' other terms.Peoples Native to Asia & the contintents of North & south America are Mongloids.Through my worldwide travels & library research,i notice big simalarities Bewtween peoples from Asia & Native north Americans. On my travels 2 Indonesia,Cambodia & Malayasia,I seen people that looked like they could be from Mexico or Peru. Both members of the Mongloid race. Also in parts of Mexico(Places like Puebla & Yucatan) i see (some)people that clearly look like they could be from Laos,Thailand,Philipines, ect.these are People whose ansestors migrated on a land bridge 10 thousand years ago.Does anyone else notice this??No racist comment please, this is social studies class.

As Indigenous American people we have our own beliefs as to our origins. Many non-indigenous american people speculate, but it is not fair to do so because all people across the world have beliefs in their origins including Asian people. And those beliefs should be respected.
Enlightened?
Okay- Besides Indigenous Americans and the occassional non- Indigenous American sea farer, most people in the western hemisphere supposedly did not know that the continents of North and South America existed before 1492, so why would they include the Indigenous people of what is today the Americas in any race except for that which they were already accustomed to a.k.a Caucoid, ******* & the Mongloid. After all, let's not forget that Columbus told everyone that he had "discovered" Indians ; ahh yeah, Indians from India when he arrived on the Islands off the coast of the South American Continent. We can all laugh now and say what an idiot. But that was then and, and It was a big misnomer, he was not anywhere near India, and he was way off, yet Indigenous Americans today still are sometimes called Indians. And speaking of Indians from India which race would they fall under? What one is dealing with when talking about known races in certain cultures before 1492 is an uneducated out-dated view of the known races to such things as Columbus and Columbus also thought the earth was flat..... need we say more?
If one looks for something then they will eventually find it everywhere and in everything they do, but that does not make the thing that they have looked for TRUE. For instance one can insist that people came from cows and if they search and look to prove this they may find similarities in DNA, hair, nails.......etc., because cows are also beings of the earth and there are only so many elements found on the earth, and this is significantly narrowed down when one begins talking about mammals. Keeping this in mind - yes, people of the world have mixed recently. But that does not mean that they all started out as the same thing. But if one is looking to justify their own means, then they can find similarities in folks all around the earth of course as we are all able to communicate and socialize with one another if we are functioning human beings. To truthfully answer the above question I will have to say NO. Infact the opposite is more true, which is to say that while all people of the earth have similarities each grouping of people have distinctions and those distinctions become more and more prevalent as more and more people mix. for instance, if one was to see a person that was half European american and half african american they would see similarities but they would also see stark differences between the mixture and the original. Mixed race is one way that people describe this. It is easy to forget that while there is speculation there is also truth. Since we are talking about species of the earth here, even bison and cows get less speculation. And that speaks for itself. They are what they are.

I've noticed something similar. However, it was in a less scientific way. It's very interesting though. I am Christian and since I believe the Bible, I believe we all originated by the same two people ... hence the reason I am not racist. I may be prejudiced at times, we all are. But racism is just one form of prejudice, which is why I can be prejudice without being racist at the same time. Sorry -- little off your topic. But what you're saying sparks a chord of interest.

Well... 'race' as a biological term does not apply to the groups you mentioned- they share blood types, DNA, etc. and are only different in a few superficial characteristics- eye fold, hair color, and skin color. Biologically, they are often called 'clines' when there is little real genetic difference between them.
Non-biological sciences often use the term 'race' in other ways- but they are making pretty big deals over differences that are so minor that in most other animals would be ignored as simple natural variations unworthy of the term race, breed, etc. In snakes, rats, etc., we would call it a color morph!
However, the shared characteristics you mention are pretty recent in our evolution, and the characteristics are shared by people who moved in ways that can be fairly easily tracked through time by archeology.

i'm curious touching directly to the Austroid - i will ought to look that one up, i've got in no way heard the term. whilst i became in college, it became basically 3 anthropological classifications (not DNA or medical) - Caucasoid, *******, and Mongoloid. particular, there are basically some root races, and we are all combos, to various tiers. that is why race would not remember - you would be not uncomplicated pressed to discover all and sundry in the worldwide that is organic something. Evolution and geography additionally performs a place in alterations of complexion.

Actually, that's only one division of races.
It turns out that clinically, medically, it is a very useful division of races, but it is only ONE.
There are distinct physiological characteristics of, say, Jews or Hispanics that have medical importance and are clearly passed via geneology.
If you're just looking at skin COLOR, perhaps - but when you start looking at facial structure, and particularly start really digging down deep into what the prevalent disesases are, you'd be foolish to ignore the other genetic markers that are a function of racial history.

The situation as you outline it is more layered and complicated by events over time than first "appearances" would suggest. Not to say that you aren't on to something. I do think the mingling of genetic heritage has been just as common in past ages of our species' history as the current one, just as we've been decimated in numbers in the past and had our genetic diversity accordingly reduced.
This may answer some questions (and possibly create more!).

Some interesting evidence long forgotten by the west, and only just now being re-discovered.
Cheers and all the best!
