If I was a geneticist I would want a lock of John Lennon's hair to clone his musical talent and his peace-loving nature.

Most people would want to keep it as memorabilia or sell it on ebay or at auction.

Because you are a sick freak that wants to possibly clone an army of John Lennon

people are star-fckers! and in love with celebrities, so much so that to own something that once grew on their body, even though they are now dead, is something they would pay good money for. i personally wouldn't buy a lock of anyones hair. except maybe jesus, but i haven't heard it was for sale...

I'm wondering, they got it from him before they buried him? Or are they digging him up and cutting it (and hopefully burying back again afterward)?

'Cause if someone I knew got shot for no reason, I'm fairly certain my first thought would not be to start removing things from his body.

Because people will buy any and everything. If its for sale then they will buy it. I bet you they would even buy dirty drawers. As long as they can do it
