Because you didn't follow up. They are under no obligation to contact you if they don't like the quote, although it is polite to do so. They may also still be considering your quote and others.
When I was doing bids on jobs, I would state the bid that I would call in a few days to be sure they had the bid and I would ask how long they expected to take on consideration so I would not be bothering them too early. That alerted them that I would be following up and set up my next call.

Usually, when you quote a price to a client, and there is no response, you may need to follow up after the quote, to see if there is any additional information they may need. If that is not the case then maybe your quote was too high. www.dupontandcompany.com

Maybe the price you quoted them on was not within their budget requirements. Next time maybe you could say I quote you $........(the amount) and then say you can negotiate if they find a cheaper price elsewhere. That way you can keep some business, if you wish to negotiate that is.

Set up a website advertising your goods , primary target international( eg US & Europe ). It is important to get the equipment to be certified safe to use by international standards.

People these days are not looking for ripoffs. Depends what price you are quoting. You have to be more convincing enough for them to reply to you. Business is business.
