About a week ago, my computer caught a virus listed as malware. Norton caught it after a minute or two, but ever since then my computer won't play anything on www.live365.com and certain videos on youtube. On live365, it will let me log in and navigate to favorites, but it won't let me open the station pages. When I click the speaker to listen, the window pops up to load, but never finishes loading, and the picture on the right side is gone. The videos it won't play on youtube are the ones that say BMG and stuff like that under the pictures. It will play the rest of the videos on youtube. Sometimes it has trouble loading some pictures, but it still works otherwise. I've tried updating my java and flash player, and I've tried system restore, but it still won't play. I've also tried turning off pop-up blockers. I've never had any problems like this out of my computer before and Norton caught the virus, so I don't know what's wrong.
I use Windows XP and Norton Antivirus.

Most likely the virus corrupted a operating file. I would suggest backing up all your important data and having a fresh copy of windows installed. Rooting out the problem will be alot harder than a fresh install.

I used to consider it used to be the wi-fi modem I had. Because, there could be occasions while I would not be in a position to do any factor on-line, and the shortcut on my computing device could say I have an Excellent Connection. Actually, what it supposed used to be, I have a excellent connection to my wi-fi modem and the bars, within the Wireless Network Connection field, could be all complete and inexperienced! The wi-fi track software could say "You are connect with the modem, however now not related to Internet" or some thing like that. It's occurred to me so in many instances, I do not consider you'll be able to restrict it. It constantly comes again. There's a well danger, it isn't your computer systems. Go Figure!

Try downloading both Adaware from Lavasoft ... and Spybot Search and Destroy from Safer Networking ... run both of those and see if that improved things ..they are spyware removal specialist tools where your Norton is an overall cleaner doing too many different jobs to be able to do them all 100% well

number one GET RID OF NORTON, it's a hudge waste of space and there are other free virus programs out ther that are smaller and does a better job!

number 2 seems to me you need to do a SYSTEM FORMAT take it back to the very beginning not SYSTEM RESTORE you will need your RESTORE disk to do a clean windows install.
