Getting off the Depo-Provera shot?

I have stopped the Depo-Provera shot a few months ago. And I have started my menses again after about 6 months of being off of it. Does anyone have any feedback on how long I will have my menses and will they be really heavy? I have been having an extremely heavy flow now for about 1 week. Please share your experiences. THANKS SOOO MUCH!

Based on what I've learned from friends who have done Depo-Provera it can take up to a year for the period to fully regulate itself. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
