I don't think he was robbed this year as he did miss 12 quarters of play which dropped his stats from last year. I do think he was robbed last year though.
It's amazing how many ignorant people are out there. They comment without even knowing a thing about what they are talking about, but hey, this is America and it's their right to voice an opinion. More power to them, I just wish they'd do some research first.
Brennan played against Alabama, Boise St., Purdue, Oregon St., and Arizona St. last year. His stats against these defenses were as good if not better than his career stats. He plays big in big games. Last year they (the media) said that just having great stats is not enough to win the Heisman and awarded it to T. Smith...Big Mistake at years end. This year they "sell" Tebow because of his stats even with 3 losses. What??? Talk about double standards!!! How many times in the past have you heard the media say that an underclassman sould not be considered for the award? The award is no longer given out the way it was intended. For the show to say that the Board of Trustees are protecting the integrity of the foundation was a joke.
The real loser was McFadden. How can he come out 2nd for two years? If not Brennan, McFadden should have won it last year, and since I agree that Brennan probably didn't "win" it this year, definately McFadden sould have taken it. Sure he didn't have every game he played be perfect, but did Tebow?

Brennan could win with the help of a techniques. right this is why. a million. Brennan is basically the main suitable passing quarterback contained in the historic previous of faculty soccer. He broke the checklist in 3 seasons while Detmer took 4. 2. Ty Detmer gained the Heisman in breaking the all-time landing checklist in 4 years. Brennan destroyed the checklist in decrease than 3 years (minus 2 and a 0.5 video games this three hundred and sixty 5 days and minus each and every of the quarters he did not play through fact Hawaii became so a techniques forward that Hawaii did not prefer to run up the score). 3. in case you pass with the help of style of quarters performed, Brennan is a techniques way basically before Tebow. If Brennan performed an identical style of quarters as Tebow, he'd have 70 touchdowns. 4. Tebow is the gadget quarterback. His gadget calls his quantity so he gets the touchdowns working and passing. 5. Tebow is contained in the SEC so he has plenty greater proper blockading with the help of the super gamers around him. placed him with Hawaii's personell and he won't gain this nicely. 6. No passer in historic previous has accuracy numbers like Brennan. contained in the final sport, there have been 3 dropped passes. His numbers could have been 40 5 out of fifty! a ninety% ending touch fee!! - after 50 passes???!!! 5 TD's NO recommendations astonishing. (attempt doing that contained in the park with a chum. Who can do 40 5 of fifty even and not using a protection) 7. Tebow broke a checklist this three hundred and sixty 5 days. Brennan broke the checklist e book. Tebow is a huge quarterback. Brennan is the main suitable ever. 8. The X ingredient: Brennan took his group to an undefeated season and by no skill faltered in crunch time every time. Tebow enable his group down thrice this three hundred and sixty 5 days. 9. Tebow vs. Brennan is super vs. best suited. Brennan is a variety for the a while. He could win arms down.

No. I think Tim Tebow deserved the Heisman. Although, I didn't think that Troy Smith was the best candidate to win it last year.
I feel that if Colt Brennan can pull out a win against Georgia that he should be considered for the #1 pick in the draft.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. If that were true than you can say the same for Timmy Chang who was the QB at Hawaii before Brennan who held the TD record that Brennan broke. How's Timmy doing in the NFL now? They are both in a system where they pass the majority of the game.

Nope i don't agree yes he had awesome numbers but look at the competition he played against and the system he was in but you have to evaluate the whole package all he does is throw the ball he's not a runner like most teams are looking for in the NFL as a starting QB

no i disagree Tebow was the most deserving and its about time the heisman actually went to the right guy for a change ,just look at Tebows stats he made history this season and he did it playing teams ranked in the top 25 ,unlike Brennan who is a good qb but honestly its not hard to have numbers like he had playing the opponents Hawaii played

Yes he was robbed. Playing for Hawaii, he never really had a chance to win the Heisman.
Tebow I think absolutely deserved the Heisman, however I have a problem with the fact that it wasn't Brennan's numbers or abilities that denied him a proper shot at winning, it was just the location of his team. No matter who Hawaii plays, Brennan won't win just because none of the voters care about that state.

Yes to a certain extent. Had he played in a BCS conference with half the numbers he produced he would have won it. Imagine if he played for USC with those numbers he would have won back to back Heismans.

And how many yards would guys like Matt Stafford, Matt Ryan, and Tim Tebow have against the grade-school defenses that Brennan gets to face every week?

Actually the one who got robbed was Danny Woodhead of Chadron State. He's the all time rushing leader in college football.
Brennan's a great player, but like Woodhead and a ton of other great players, he won't get the credit he may deserve just because he plays for a school that's not one of the biggies.
