It was a stupid comment he knows that Bobby Petrino left his team like a Father leaving the Mother and her Children, that even more important Loyalty and commitment, you just don't leave when things are bad, so get over It see why your team is doing bad at 3-10 and without a coach and their star QB behind bars of 23 Months, The Falcons season is lost now they need to get everything straighten out its may need a miracle worker fix their problems.

Well, if Vick is known by his teamates to actually, specifically like fried chicken as a personal matter, it ain't racist then... They are stating something that has to do with him only.

I think it proves he is not a racist. A man in that position thinks before he speaks. It didn't occur to him that there were racial connotations to something as simple as eating fried chicken.

this was not taken as a racist comment to any sports figures he was basicly saying as long as he watches his diet i have heard many players coachs and other black people (with a education)say they did not take it that way and they dont know why its being turned into this all of them say the same thing

I answered this earlier:

im black, I don't eat chicken, I took no offense.

Mainly because I didn't see/hear what they dude said. It was secondary through other peoples perspective. It all depends on how it was said, the context. But I don't make much of it.

I don't think he is racist. That comment can be viewed that way, but I look at the overall person more than just one ill-advised comment.
I would call it just a bad thing to say.

If you listen to what he said, He was talking about staying in shape, and not eating fattening foods. Its been blown way out of proportion as usual..........
