Yes, they are always spectacular. I love the vivid colors. It is even better when you have a little cheer!

I usually go to a house in the Poconos for New Years. After we see the ball drop on TV we pop the champaigne and walk outside into the cold to see the fireworks in the distance as I play Auld Lang Syne on my ipod speakers.

We have to take them when we can. Too many wild fires for the 4th of July fireworks out here most years - we don't have that problem on New Years!

Well....I guess the only New Year fireworks I get a good look at are usually on television....unless one of our neighbours is setting a few off....but yes, I do usually enjoy them if I see them.

I love them, but it's even better when my brother comes up from Missouri. He fills the bed of his truck up with all kinds, and brings them up here. Then we shoot them off for the kids, and some of the adults too. Me included :)
