There are the obvious religious meanings, but on a personal level, I think it is about spending time with those you care about and sharing the love.

Our Savior, Jesus Christ was born by Mary in a manger in Bethlehem while the Shepard , wise men, and angels watched over them. Oh and I forgot the Camel, donkey, and sheep. LOL We should all first remember this day to be a holy one. Then while remember Jesus Birthday, we may also celebrate Christmas with the giving of gifts.

I think a lot can be said by when you are out of money every year, that it always works out. The real meaning is found in the love- by giving a gift to all your loved ones even if you are broke, by staying together, seeing every family member on Christmas day, and going out of your way to help a neighbor that can't buy for the kids. It all goes back to the love God has for us, and his gift to us.

It's the day that Jesus Christ was born, a day where we as a family will go to church, then gather for a feast to celebrate.

Santa also comes down the Chimney the night before and brings gifts for the children.

It's a lovely day filled with fun, reflection, love and FOOD!!!

It's an ancient trick meant to encourage people to be 'religious' when Christmas has nothing to do with religion or spirituality. It has nothing to do with Jesus' birthday, since he was not born on December 25. It has more to do with superstitions. From the star on the top of the tree, to the gifts, to Santa, to the lights surrounding your house. It all has roots of worshiping mythical gods. look it up. Winter Solstice.

yeah, sure. give me thumbs down... I'm just glad I'm not blinded to the truth. And hey, I was asked my opinion. So slap my hand for giving it...

It's a random date that Christians celebrate the birth of Christ, even though it's highly unlikely that he was born on that particular day.
