Hi,,
I'm signing up for gmail.
I actually wanted my ID to be daniel, which is my name
but there already exists a person whose ID is daniel..
So I'm thinking aboud appending my birthdate to my name,
then my ID would be daniel30
does it look weird to put 30 in ID?
I never want people to think that I'm thirty years old..
I want my ID as normal as possible....

Cheers,

be a little careful about using birthdates in ID's ... with a persons name and date of birth you can create a whole new identity for use in gaining credt and loans leaving YOU to explain why it isn't YOU who owes the $$ ..... but otherwise numbers are fine ... I'd suggest you use your street number instead

It is very normal to have a number in an e-mail id. There are millions of people on the Internet and more than one named Daniel. My gmail account has 131 after my name which is my birthday.

It isn't strange at all...I have to use numbers in my Yahoo and Gmail accounts because the name was already taken.
