I am planning on getting cod4 too, which one would run the best and not overheat?

I only buy BFG graphic cards because of their lifetime warranty. But they have never failed on me (and I beat the crap out of them).

they are basically the same, but some are "factory overclocked, those sometimes run very hot but offer increased performance. Anything that says "OC, superclocked, overclocked, etc" in the name is factory overclocked. The cheapest ones have no modifications to them, but run the coolest and cost the least.
It depends on your budget.

My video card is from BFG, and its factory overclocked, but again your choice should be based on budget, not brand, and buy from somewhere reliable, like newegg.

My suggestion is go to buy a ATI HD 3870.
IT's cheaper, and IT's more powerful.
Look at the test i give you.See the red line in the chart.
you still can buy it around $250.
If you still want to buy 8800GT.
i can say most of them are the same, because they are BBN(built by NVidia). So you can buy a cheaper one from XFX,PNY,EVGA,BFG,ASUS,MSI,FOXCONN,LEADTEK.........
remember to buy one with a fan.
