I was covertly surveilled by a neighborhood watch group.They even broadcast images of me over the internet. I now suffer daily humiliation. My anger is immense. How do I defuse this situation without resorting to mortal revenge?

If you were surveilled in a public place, you have no expectation of privacy. Your best course of action is to put on your big boy pants and deal with it like a grownup. Get counseling and tell the shrink you're thinking about "mortal revenge," too.
If you believe some sort of compensable civil wrong has been done to you, go seek legal counsel.
P.S. The answer about "libelous" video makes no sense to me, as truth is an absolute defense to libel and it's VIDEO. Unless some huge falsehood was published with the video, where's the defamation? Walking around acting in an embarrassing manner and having that be truthfully depicted in a video is not defamation.

Geez! What in the world were you doing running naked into a neighbors yard or some spiritual zoned out dance in your speedo perhaps? Take your pills all will be fine in the morning.

File a damage suit agaisnt those who initiated the broadcasting of your images because it is libelous and a defamation of your person.
