I once played a superhero RPG and I had a superhero and his wolf. The background on the character was that he was at Mount St. Helen's when it erupted. He was trying to save some wildlife and he was attempting to rescue a wolf when they became trapped.
They woke up and found themselves in an underground lab. When he looked in the mirror, he saw himself and his wolf. They both looked like finely sculptured obsidian - he was an obsidian man and he had an obsidian wolf. His name was ENFORCER and his wolf’s name was SIR.
Therefore, if I was a superhero, I would take the name ENFORCER and I would train a wolf and name him SIR.

Thunder Mouse.
Because it is a nice name for a mouse and because Danger Mouse has already been taken by that rodent who is the World's Greatest Secret Agent.
