Okay, we have all type of music available to us today, but Dad's favorite kind of Music is Country. Although Today's Country is awesome, they're not as half great conpared to classic Country, going back to Charley Pride ( Just between you and me) Dolly Parton ( Coats of Many colors ) Tanya Tucker ( Love me like you used to) Kenny Roger ( The Gambler) Geroge Jones ( Old pair of sneakers.) Conway Twitty ( I am just a Clone) etc.

What kind of music do you desire most?

My second goes to Reggae ( Sanchez, Bob Marley and Wayne Wonder).

I also am a country music fan.I prefer the old style country Dolly Parton,Tammy Wynette,Lynn Anderson,Conway Twitty ,Merle Hagard and Marty Robbins.I also like new country artists like Matina McBride,Carrie Underwood ,Brad Paisley and Garth Brooks.I like how country music tells a little story.I do enjoy a variety of music styles but can't say that I like hip hop or rap.I have a very hard time understanding the lyrics .I guess to each his own.

Its the people choice. I think country is the best personally. I love newer country music but it more of a mix of popish rock and country, such as Big and Rich, Cowboy Troy, and so on. But I like some older ones such as Dolly and Kenny (Islands in the Stream), Charley Pride (Kiss an Angel Good Morning), and Johnny Cash (Folsom Prision Blues).
My second choice would be rock. Such as Buckcherry, Nirvana, Seether, Papa Roach, and Stone Sour.

I have a contact in India who has some Indian music on his My Multiply page that I have down loaded.
It is different to my 'Western' ear, but it isn't unpleasant to the ear. It doesn't make you want to hit the skip button like some styles of our music do. (rap etc)
