He's black and he says they have diff skin. (???) I need something that can give him a close shave without irritating his head. I don't need none of the fancy options they have, just anything that can give a close shave. Any suggestions?

I personally use a Norelco electric razor and I love it. No need for shaving cream and no nix and cuts to deal with afterward. I would definitely say to spend the extra money to get a quality one. I have one that was given to me over 6 years ago and it still works great. I think it originally cost 100 bucks. But these days you can get REALLY good ones for 50 bucks or less. I say go for it!

( I am a Guy)
They only advertise electric shavers at Christmas because the only people that buy them are women (for gifts) Very few guys want or use an electric shaver. I belong to a health club with several thousand members. I can only remember 2 or 3 guys using an electric shaver there. My advice, get a different gift idea.
Also, he is right about Black people having more sensitive skin.

Norelco shavers are really nice, but i would spend at least $50 or more on a quality shaver or he would get cut up.

Good luck, and merry xmas :)

Ya about one of those $50 shavers and also make sure its auto renewal and self-cleaning. those cheap ones suck and blades wear out easy.
