I have to do a report in science on Molybdenum, does anyone know anything about it? Any experts on the elements? Websites on Molybdenum aren't very helpful, so, please help, it's due in two days.

Mo is a refractory metal because it has a high melting point. Check to see how many other elements have a higher melting point. Mo is used as an alloying element in some steels. Google Mo and steel to see what you get. One interesting fact, tarantulas (the spider) has blood that is blue vs human blood which is red (when it is oxidized in hemoglobin). That is because human hemoglobin is has iron in it and tarantula hemoglobin has Mo in it. I am not sure what you will find googling Mo and blood. You should be able to find companies that sell Mo and their websites may have info on where Mo is mined and who discovered it. You can look at the periodic table and tell what it's atomic wt and density are. You may be able to find info on how much Mo there is in the earth.

good luck
