From the airport to Brandon is about 25 miles and most of the cabs charge $2 per mile, so around $50 depending on where in Brandon you are headed. The taxi service listed in Stuart's answer is based in Pinellas county and the airport and Brandon are both in Hillsborough county (which neighbors Pinellas) so the rates on that website may not be accurate.
The airport shuttle (also called a limo service, but actually a minivan as stated above) is listed at $35 dollars from the airport to Brandon. Both cabs and airport shuttles can be arraigned at kiosks located near baggage claim.

Its crazy easy. There called limos (there minivans) they take you from the airport to anywhere and its real cheap like $15 + tip.
