No, love definitely exists. Infatuation would be just an obsession of some kind. As for the how do you know....well, i think everyone on here could answer it differently and still be completely right.

Yes. To some, love may be infatuation and attachment, but I know for a fact that true love does exist. My husband and I have been through a lot and would be there for each other NO MATTER what. I miss him everyday when he goes to work and can't wait for him to come home. We balance each other out and we share everything. We support each other and would do anything for each other.

sounds corney.. but you just know. I truly knew what love was on the day I married my husband. We were completely past the lust and infatuation that comes with the beginning of a relationship. I am still in love with him and it's been five years and two kids. It's a feeling being in love and knowing you are in love. The day I knew I was truly in love I felt content.

It is the most real and wonderful thing in the world. But, that is only true if you are in love. You know it is past the point when you believe without any doubt that you are in love.

The most real thing in the world. I'm so in love and it's life-changing. My heart goes crazy when ever he's close and it's been that way for the past year. He makes everything worth it and I'd give up anything -my own life- for him.

Yes, I do believe.
Perhaps a combination.
But I have seen people who love their spouses after being together for years.
My brother and SIL.
They LOVE each other.
Nice to see.

I think it's a combination of those. I know I will get a lot of thumbs down for this...or maybe not many....or not at all...but I really don't believe in love.

I really think nowadays it has been cheapened. These people who enter into these marriages of convenience claiming they are in love give the entire institution of love and marriage a bad name.
