I am an optimist and 'survivor' even under the most extreme pressures, and while facing excessive obstacles.
Hence, I always see ONLY see the funny side of all the crises - as a result of which, my sense of humour makes me successfully get past all opposing factors !

This is exactly the point I made with Sweetwater, Kahlan, Lyrrehc and Jan na last night. With all the troll wars going on, that the trolls can do what they want, TD all of us to death, report violations when there is none, be nasty, etc. Just let them be. And I will just have to go on our own merry way and play and enjoy YAP, completely oblivious of people's evil designs, looking instead at the situation as most funny: Thinking that someone out there is so mad, wasting time and effort fighting is actually a very funny visual - - - someone so mad at somebody who doesn't give a hoot.
So enough of the troll wars, ok? Or you guys will never cease to provide some people here a dose of entertainment (instead of being affected by it).
Merry Christmas!

This is where the advantage of being unstable comes into play.
Whenever a part of me is "low and disgruntled over something", somehow my unstable brain does the "shifting of tectonic plates " trick, and I am somehow transported into another plane, looking down at myself, and couldn't help but laugh at how pathetic the Grouch looks!

In trying times.. I always try to look at the brighter and funny side of life to keep me moving on. I can't afford to just breakdown and cry... as long as I know that my loved ones are still there for me. The show must go on..<*-*>

Not often enough, I'm afraid. I sure wish I could totally remove pessimism from my vocabulary. I know I'm quick to cheer people up but when it comes to myself, I find it hard sometimes to fight my own demons. I guess those who can't, advice. hayyyyy
"I started a joke, which started the whole world crying,
But I didnt see that the joke was on me, oh no.
I started to cry, which started the whole world laughing,
Oh, if Id only seen that the joke was on me." --- Bee Gees

It's one of the mechanisms that we use to cope with the negative experiences in life. Also see "gallows humor".

Yes, I try to find humor in everything, especially the bad stuff. It is the best way to live! He who can laugh at himself, laughs best! :)
