The Friday before Christmas I invite all of the nieces and nephews to my house for a sleep over-we go skiing, sledding, watch movies, haev pizza and play games at teh arcade (I am teh coolest Aunt ever) then in the morning we meet at my Moms place for a family gift exchange followed by a HUGE breakfast. The kids then play with their toys, the men go hunting and the women go shopping. We draw straws to determine who has to watch the kids. Then on Christmas we are free to do whatever we please-I usually work after church-double time you know

The tradition seems to be running around everywhere as everyone wants to see us that day. We have 2 big families and in recent years some of the family don't all meet up at the same place so that means more running around and with 5 kids to cart around it can be difficult. But as we love our family very much we do our best. We have even managed to go to someones house on boxing day and maybe even Christmas eve to spread it out more evenly. Makes for a very tiring season. :)

At my house we get together with all of our friends at our house on Christmas eve and exchange gifts. And on Christmas Day we exchange gifts for the family and we eat a nice Christmas dinner and then we celebrate my birthday.

Go to my aunt's house on Christmas Eve to see the family, then spend Christmas Day with my parents, my sister and her husband.
