Yeah! Actually, since we lost our youngest child (age 2) 4 years ago, and then my wife divorced me, I've had MANY of those kind of days! I've lost count of how many times I've asked God if I could just "go to sleep and wake up in Heaven"!!! Sometimes life REALLY sucks! But then, I am encouraged by the fact that I'm SAVED by Jesus Christ and thus, ON MY WAY TO HEAVEN! Plus, I know that this whole mess is NOT for ever (though sometimes it SEEMS that way!) And there really ARE people who have things MUCH worse than me! The WORST part of this whole situation is BEING ALONE, which I absolutely HATE!!! I pray every day for the Lord to bless me with a GOOD WOMAN to be my wife!!! SIGH!!!

Not anymore.

Two days changed me forever:

The first was on June 16, 2000 when the Nissan Hardbody Regular Cab/Bed Pickup was murdered by a Semi which left the scene after they pushed me into the path of another vehicle. I was transported to local hospital by EMS Ambulance where they put seven stitches in my left shoulder upper backside.

Had I not been wearing my ball cap, I would have needed several stitches to close a gash to the lower backside of my head. That area of the cap had a huge hole. On that part of my head, there is a scar from a small scratch.

I shocked the investigating officer when he came to the ER to complete his report when he asked for me and I walked up to him. I said nothing and handed him my license and proof of Auto Insurance. He completed his report and told me I was not being charged nor cited for any part of the accident. He gave me a card with a claim number and told me to call my insurance the next day, give them the claim number and tell them I was not at fault.

The Second was on May 3, 2002 when I was executed form my job of nearly 18 years. I was executed 2 months and five days shy of my what would have been my 18th anniversary with the company. Took me 18 months to find part time work and nearly three years to find the same type job I had when I was executed in 2002.

Losing your job is like an execution, you do lose your livelihood.

Hey, Tink, what happened?

Sorry you have had some tough times.

It is awfully disgustingly trite to say this, but it IS true - the Sun DOES come up tomorrow.

And don't you DARE hand me the standard answer - Yeah, but does the Sun CARE?

Instead, watch a sunrise - and a sunset. Beauty IS. all on its own.

Or, to sum this up in the way I talk to the dentist:

This too, will pass. Do your worst, bastard.

Yes, every once in a while. But life is precious and having a bad day allows you to appreciate the especially good ones. Optimistically speaking, thank God for bad days so there can be a good one.

Yes~~
I have been hating my life for a while now.
My job is the reason.
I keep plugging away hoping for a new one.
Any day now~

i think everybody has their ups and downs, there are times when i'm not totally in love with my life, but i know i am blessed and god takes care of me, i know there are others out in this world who have it so much worse than me. so, i look at what makes my life great, and then i love it again.

Yes, you are lying if you say that there hasn't been a day in your life that you disliked. If you lose a loved one then of course you dislike that day. Who wouldn't?

No,

I don't hate my life, I don't like some of the people in it!
