1/8 equals 2/16. 1/4 equals 4/16, which means that 1/8 is half of 1/4, and everyone knows that 1/4 equals 25 percent. Since 1/8 is half of 1/4, you just have to find what half of 25 is, which you can simply do by doing the equation 25 divided by 2, which is 12 and 1/2, or 12.5, which ultimately means that 1/8 equals 12.5 percent

If you plug in 1/8 in a calculator and get 0.125. Multiply that by 100, and you get the percentage, 12.5%. Some calculators even have a percent button to do the conversion for you.

someone already gave you the answer but they say, give a man a fish, feed him for a day. teach a man to fish and feed him for life. sooo... to find out what the % of a fraction is divide the numerator by the denominator and multiply that answer by 100 to get your percentage. Ie: 1 / 8 = 0.125.
0.125 X 100 = 12.5%
