Honouring Jesus birth. Being with my family. Watching the joy in my children as they enjoy it.

Another post of a similar question offered the quote by Linus to Charlie Brown from the classic "Merry Christmas Charlie Brown". It still makes my neck hair tingle.

I believe in the importance of Christians to be able to celebrate the birth of Christ in Mass. And I believe in the importance of all people, Christian or not, to respect Christians and their beliefs even if you do not respect God or His son just as any person should respect any other person's very strong beliefs.

The angel said to them,

"Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger."

And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:

"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests."

(Luke 2:10-14)

With love in Christ.
