You live under her roof, you have no privacy. As a parent, she has an obligation to check up on you. Things you may consider "harmless" may not be, and by checking on what you're doing, she's protecting you. You obviously don't see it this way, but you will...one day. There's so many dangers for teens these days, she needs to do whatever she can/has to do to make sure you stay safe.

You don't say how she is? Does she have a Key logger and is spying on you? If that is so, maybe you are a young teen. With the sick stuff that is going on in our world. Maybe she has good reason to spy on you. Have you given her any reason to want to do that? No, I don't think you could sue her. If you were an adult, might be a different story. That is sad that you would want to do that in the first place. She is your Mother.

You have no case. She's your mother. It's her job to to keep tabs on you & where you go. She is legally responsible for your actions untill you turn 18. You don't have any expectation of privacy under the law. Particularly as you stated, it's HER latop not YOURS.
