A few places and times in Afghanistan I'd rather not think about ever again but constantly do.

Well....the first thing I thought of was the British version of the TV game show "Blockbusters"....and I am sure we didn't even have a TV for most of the time it was running! I saw the show many times, though....and I do remember Bob Holness (the host) telling contestants to "put yourself on the hot spot, please" when it was their turn to do a Gold Run.
Happy memories of days when we were all about 20 years younger.
