Probably not but I can hope. He is my favorite Democratic candidate because of his plan for Iraq, his foreign policy experience, his bipartisanship in the Senate, and his practicality, common sense, and moderate stances he conveys in his Youtube videos.

He has the potential as he is one of the more experienced candidates running. However, he probably missed his best chance at being president back in 1988. He was forced to drop out when it was discovered that he had borrowed parts of his stump speech from Neil Kinnock (who was then Leader of the Labour Party in Britain) without attributing the sayings to him.
At this point, it looks like a three or four candidate race with Biden stuck in fifth. Of course, things can change dramatically over the next three weeks but time is beginning to run out on this campaign.

Biden is a good guy but past his presidential prime. The guy is 65yrs old and been in Washington for ~35yrs. He can't bring about effective change as president, maybe as Secretary of State.
To Manuel B...Biden's Iraq plan calls for separating Iraq into three states, Kurdish, Sunni, and Shia. The only problem I see with this plan is that the Kurds will continually have problems with the PKK terrorizing Turkey, the Sunni state will become a haven for Al Qaeda, and the Shia state will become a substate of Iran.

He hasn't done enough to make people aware of him.
Unfortunately most of the campaign funds donated to promote the Democrat party went mostly into Hilary's campaign bank account.
It is a shame that Biden did not get the media or financial support that he deserves.

I think he's the dems best candidate. He just doesn't really want to win bad enough. His problem is that he's been in Washington too long and has too many friends to worry about hurting (in both parties), so he doesn't really go after them (you'll see if you watch the debates... he's very cordial to his opponents). This is why everyone likes him in Washington and he gets along with both parties, but it's exactly why he doesn't have a chance.

When he surfaced I was surprised he was still alive. No way a candidate; his time is long gone.

Sorry but no, he is white and a man, so nobody is really paying attention to him. A shame really, because he does have some good ideas.
