So I made the mother a home-made card.
And I plan on giving my father a nice hug.
How special.
Happy Christmas!

Rice cooker for my mom and boomwhackers for my dad.

My mom's rice cooker is ancient with one missing handle. As cajuns here in Louisiana, a good rice cooker is essential.

"What are boomwhackers?", you ask. See the link below.

My dad is a musician. He can play the piano with his nose and the guitar behind his head. He can also play his harmonica with his guitar. He will love a new instrument to learn. He and all the grandkids will have a blast.

I'll probably get my mom a gift card to get her out of the house for some shopping. If I feel like it, I might write my dad a letter and send him a card. He'd be lucky to get that.
