I don't think it's age... my hubby's had them for years and he's not quite fifty yet..... but then, too, he's got major bushy eyebrows, too.... so much so that I need to cut them back just like when I trim his beard!....

I think you're right. I'm 71 and it seems to grow where I don't want it to be. I get it in my nose and in and outside my ears. I bought a battery operated nose and ear trimmer from Wal - Mart for under $10 and am going to try and see if it will work, cause I can't stand it in my ears and nose when it gets longer than the hair on my head. :>)

My former hubby had excessive ear hair in his late 20's - so it depends I guess...not necessarily an age thing. My son has the same issue....he uses those special nose and ear hair clippers

Why do men have hair growing in their ears and noses. Good Question. I found a link for you. I am not sure whether it will answer your question or not.

we all have hair in our ears and our noses. the only difference between that and the hair on our heads is we cut the stuff on our heads. it only stands to reason that if hair isn't cut it grows longer over the years, which is why you can now see the hair in your husbands ears.

My guess is that it is part of the aging process. You should trim his ear hairs for him and in return he'll do something nice for you.

You can buy a little battery operated nose and ear hair trimmer. It's inexpensive. My Dad used to use one and I know my brothers do. (they are in their 70's)

It's hard for us to see hair in our own ears, even in a mirror.
Do men get hor- mones in there ears.

I don't know why, but I guess it's part of the aging process. Women grown hair on their chins & around their mouths, so it must be an aging thing as well.
