Yeah, when I was growing up, or for that matter, until I was an adult, we did not have it.
It IS a pain.
But everything has pros & cons, ya know what I mean?

We used to have to go to the LIBRARY for information!
I did not always find out it was going to rain until the drops actually fell!
I hand WROTE letters to family & friends that were far away!
I PLAYED outside & hardly anyone was obese.
I was called in from the sound of my mother's voice, or just came when it was time for dinner!

I was born in the 1940's, and did very well without the internet for lots of years.

yeah and it would be a very boring day...but just think,if internet wasn't invented at all, we wouldn't think of this world with all the computers and internets around us...so we wouldn't long for internet and all the hightech gadgets....because we wouldn't have any idea what it's like...

Eh, sonny..back in the old days we used that new fangled invention called the t-e-l-e-p-h-o-n-e and the l-i-b-r-a-r-y and got along just fine..except porn was a little embarrasing to come by.

There are those of us here who remember life without internet, computers, mobile phones, etc., and we're not that old.

I'll bet we're still pretty healthy too. %-)
