Right off the back I think of non-profit management. The comination of a business and social work education would be the perfect background for someone to handle the administrative and executive workings of an organization geared toward dealing with the kinds of issues that social workers usually deal with, i.e. Executive Director of local Boys and Girl Club, women's shelter, homeless mission, private school, charitable trust, etc. Honestly, if the person could market him or herself well, a joint MSW/MBA could get most any generalist job they applied for including school principal, property management, human resource management, and on and on. Most any random position you can think of would be feasible because of the balance of sought-after skillls those degrees cultivate (communication, administration, leadership, financial applications, etc.).

Manage a social services agency at a high level.

This person (with some experience in the fields) would be an ideal candidate for a state level senior management position or even something with the feds.
