Do you know the author of Ella Enchanted? Gail Carlson Levine. She has a book (but its for kids), and it's not too bad. For editing, I have a book called "Self Editing for Fiction Writers." It's very, very good. Bit of a dense read, though. It's harder to finish that book than to finish ALL the harry potters at once. Mostly because you're constantly checking your own work to make sure some mistakes arent there. Good luck!
