China sure seems to cry alot about past atrocities. The rape of Nanking, WW2 They are such poor victims. I guess they forgot about the time they invaded tibet and massacred all those blood thirsty buddhists, and about the time they invaded korea with the communist forces, and about how they still execute Christians like Nero were the president, and about how they execute more people than all other governments combined, and about how they use their own people like coal to fuel growth. China is so emotionally crushed, they must have forgotten all those things.

And on top of it all, they sell their crappy toys with lead based paints, continue their horrendous violations of human rights... and for some morbid reason, there are people here who think they are a super power. Why? Because they are finally getting Olympics games which they are hastily trying to piecemeal together by hiding the destitute poverty in that country?

Yes, I feel sorry for them, as Chinese used to be a civilsation of soft and mild manner people, but western powers and particularly Japan destroyed all that and thus made them a much harden people. and I don't blame them, as the same goes to the Jewish people as well. It's just history, nothing and no one can reverse that. And they certainly didn't ask for your sympathy or pity neither.

The question about Tibet is left for debate, but it is true many tibetans were killed.

I don't agree with your statement with "invaded Korea", if that is truth, didn't USA 'invaded' the south korea first before they did with the north?

WIth they 'execute christians", I don't know where your source is from but I suspected if you are worried about Christian being murdered you should worry about the return of Taliban more.

As "they execute more people than all other governments combined" well, don't forget the size of population! their traffic offences are also probably the combine of all other countries too... and if you re against death penalty, there is one developed country still doing it, the USA. and the percentage of executions in America against its population dwarfed that of China.

And with 'how they use their own people like coal to fuel growth" if what you mean is sweat shop and cheap labour, Japan did the same in 60's and many countries are still doing it too. At least they didn't really burn human in gas chamber.

The Chinese protested agist Japan over the WW2 issues because there are growing right wing movement which openly denied it, and Japanese government never denouced them, like the way Germany did to acknowledge their past.

I am not a pro communist, nor a pro china left wing hippies, but I just think it's necessary to understand one people first before making any comments about the whole country.

Although I don't agree with many issues about China, but it's important to base the argument on facts and listen to both side of stories.

Thank you for reading it, feel free to disagree with me as I am strong believer of freedom of speech.
