Instead of clapping you flip it on or off and can even stick it to the wall.
Aren't these called light switches and we already have them?

Yes, it's stupid. And they have remote control ones out now too!
could you imagine someone giving a speech in a room where the lights are activated by "the Clapper" and when every one gave a round of applause, the lights went crazy!
